Dr Umesh Rawat graduated from Medical School in India and worked as an ED/ICU registrar in Adelaide, South Australia before entering General Practice training. 

Umesh worked as a General Practitioner in Mount Gambier, a regional town in South Australia and achieved his FRACGP in 2019. 

Umesh holds a Diploma in Child Health and Dermatology, a postgraduate Certificate in Emergency Medicine, Skin Cancer, Aesthetic Medicine, Occupational Health and Ultrasound. 

Umesh's special interest is skin cancer medicine and medical education. He is a supervisor for GP registrars and medical students.

Umesh is also a New Fellow representative in the RACGP fellowship pathway reference group.
