Anti-wrinkle treatments

Picture
Anti-wrinkle treatments in the form of cosmetic injectables help relax the muscle which cause overlying wrinkles to form. Once these muscles are relaxed the wrinkles become softer and less apparent. This quick cosmetic procedure is particularly effective in reducing the appearance of frown lines.

How long will the results last?
An anti-wrinkle treatment can last up to 4 months from one treatment. Results vary for different people.

Does the treatment hurt?
Treatments are administered by a member of our qualified clinical team. You may experience some discomfort, however this can be minimised through several means. You can discuss this with your practitioner prior to the treatment.

What are the side effects?
The most common side effects are redness, tenderness and swelling after the treatment which usually subsides within 2-3 days. Occasional bruising can occur which can be covered by make-up.

How long does the treatment take?
Anti-wrinkle treatments usually take somewhere between 10-20 minutes for the treatment, depending on how much area is covered.

What will I look like if I decide not to have another treatment?
If you decide not to have another treatment, over time your skin will return to its natural pre-treatment condition.

How do I book?
Simply call and let us know that you'd like to see a practitioner about our cosmetic injectibles services at our Capalaba practice. We'll arrange a non-obligation appointment for you. Your practitioner will run you through the options available and the estimated cost of treatment.
